Duties And Responsibilities
- Establish professional and responsive relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and continued business
- Communicate daily with customers by phone, fax, and email
- Manage daily customer quotations and orders
- Prioritize customer requirements and collaborate with Customer Service Representative to enter requirements into the system in a timely manner
- Make responsible pricing decisions based on Company objectives and sound business practices
- Regularly follows up with customer regarding pre-award quotations and WO quotations to ensure that S3 AeroDefense, LLC is meeting or exceeding the expected service level
- Work with Operations to properly prioritize and plan the completion of Customer order to ensure on-time delivery
- Function as a liaison between the customer and internal S3 AeroDefense, LLC team members to ensure all customer expectations are clearly communicated and met throughout the organization to ensure customer satisfaction
- Execute sales strategy as assigned by the Company, set regional sales objectives, and strive to achieve them
- Follow up on new customer contacts to determine whether a sales call is necessary
- Participate in tradeshows as needed to represent and promote the company
- Responsible and cooperative team leader with other departments to address and resolve customer problems. Understand and work within S3 AeroDefense, LLC policies and procedures
- Add a high level of technical product service and value to meet the goals of the assigned territories as well as the goals of the organization
- Other duties as required in support of the company and/or sales division
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- A minimum of three years’ experience in sales, with knowledge and experience in the aerospace industry is preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Other foreign language skills desired
- Extensive knowledge of the aerospace business is preferred but not required
- Strong problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with diverse types of customers and clients
- Time management and multitasking skills to manage multiple tasks and customers
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to author reports, proposals, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Highly motivated; possess the desire to set and meet high performance standards based on excellence for the benefit of the customer, the individual, team members and customers
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of products, including Word, and Excel
- Pentagon Basics
- Export & ITAR compliance
- Aerospace Industry Quality Training, FAA 145, Traceability, 8130- 3 documents, ESD, Suspected Unapproved Parts, Shelf Life/LLP’s, AD’s, ATA Spec 300, PMA Parts, Direct Ship Authority, Repair Stations, and Standard Terminology
- Other Trainings as assigned
