Production Supervisor

Career Opportunity:

The Production Supervisor will supervise production employees meeting production needs while maintaining quality procedures, safety for the facility, and a positive work environment.

Credentials and/or skills and abilities:

· College degree preferable

· 5 years production supervisor experience

· 2 years supervisory experience in a packaging facility desirable

· Experience working in Lean environment

· Excellent communication and listening skills

· Problem solving abilities

· Coaching, mentoring, and training employees experience

· Ability to be a resource for trouble-shooting production and maintenance issues

· Ability to make independent, effective decisions

· Possess ability to be a self-directed team player

· Time management

· Valid driver’s license

General Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and develop employees

2. Schedule production and direct teams maximizing production to hit delivery dates while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction

3. Manage and coach employees, providing performance reviews and enforcing disciplinary actions

4. Ensure product quality

5. Develop and implement process improvement opportunities

6. Manage facility organization and maintenance

7. Promote and live out company core behaviors creating a positive workplace

8. Use production data accurately to measure and monitor KPIs around efficiencies, downtime, inventory and overall production

Physical Requirements:

· Be able to lift up to 25 pounds

· Stand on feet for 10 hours

· At times may need to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch

· Lift more than 100 pounds with assistance for a short distance
