Credentials and/or skills and abilities:
· At least three to five (3-5) years experience in an industrial maintenance environment
· At least one (1) year high voltage electric experience
· Ability to make independent, effective decisions
· Ability to perform general maintenance jobs (welding, torching, fabricating, carpentry, plumbing, wiring, etc.)
· Basic knowledge in two or more specific trades such as machinist, carpentry, pipefitting, electrical or mechanical
· Knowledge of LOTO and OSHA safety rule
· Time management
· Excellent communication and listening skills
· Computer experience
· Forklift training and certification
· High school/GED
General Responsibilities:
· Maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and grounds.
· Work with high voltage electricity, control wiring, programming, and relay logic
· Design and fabrication
· General experience in welding, industrial electricity, electronics, plumbing, and carpentry is required.
· Use creativity and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and repair existing and potential problems.
· Will work with:
o Single phase electricity (120V 240V)
o Three phase electricity (240V 480V)
o 500VDC electricity
o Pneumatic pressure
o Hydraulic pressure
o Mechanical components
o Steam pressure
o Chemicals
- Receives and processes maintenance request forms and maintains preventive maintenance schedules for projects
- Records and maintains repair and machine maintenance information.
- Responsible for care and use of supplies, equipment, tools & parts, etc.
- Obtains parts and materials to support efficient execution of scheduled preventive maintenance and work orders.
- Applies lubricants, oils, or other material to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures.
- Performs mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs
- Follows and promotes continuous improvement of company performance, and of safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Works well with others and displays a positive team effort.
- Takes periodic inventory counts of spare equipment, parts, and tools; creates inventory variance and reorder reports for management.
- Suggests improvements to maintenance programs & machinery.
- Participates in shop cleanliness and maintenance procedures.

Physical Requirements:
Employees in this position must have the ability to:
· Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
· Use hands to finger, touch or operate machinery and handle parts.
· Climb or maintain his/her balance intermittently.
· Hear and understand speech at normal levels.
· Speak so that other may understand at normal levels.
· Stand, walk, bend over, reach overhead, grasp, push, pull and move, lift and/or carry more than 50 pounds to waist height for approximately ten (10) feet.
· Lift more than 100 pounds with assistance for a short distance.
Work Environment:
· Employees in this position will be required to work in an indoor and outdoor environment.
· Loud to very loud noise level for the majority of the time. Loud noise is consistent.
· Will work near moving mechanical parts. May work in high, precarious places. Will work near fumes or airborne particles.
· Employee must wear safety glasses and earplugs while operating certain machinery.

Pay: $23.00 - $38.00 per hour
