The experienced Corrugated Machine Operator will set up and operate machines in a manner that maximizes production while maintaining quality, safety, and a positive work environment.

Credentials and/or skills and abilities:

· Corrugated manufacturing experience (3-5 years minimum)

· Mechanical aptitude

· Experience setting up and running machines

· Experience ensuring the quality of a product

· Ability to adjust mechanical conditions to maximize production

· Ability to read a tape measure

· Ability to add/subtract fractions

· Willing to learn how to train others

· Critical thinking and creativity

· Takes initiative

· Problem solves

· Willingness to work overtime

General Responsibilities:

· Set up and run machines

· Ensure product quality

· Adjust mechanical conditions to maximize production

· Direct team to maximize production

· Troubleshoot basic machine issues

· Perform basic machine maintenance

· Operate as a team player - working and communicating well with others while promoting teamwork

· Learn how to train others

· Check product quality

· Follow standard work instructions and SOPs

· Produce quality products to meet production requirements

· Follow safety instructions

· Keep area organized and clean

· Promote continuous improvement ideas

· Report mechanical issues to supervisor

· Report quality issues to supervisor

· Abide by company rules, policies, and procedures

· Perform other related duties as may be assigned

Physical Requirements:

· Be able to lift up to 25 pounds

· Stand on feet for 10 hours

· At times may need to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch

· Lift more than 100 pounds with assistance for a short distance

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
