Our client seeks multiple Personal Injury/Workers Compensation Paralegals to join their growing team.
The Personal Injury/Workers Compensation Paralegal position is a full-time, direct hire position where you will earn up to $62,000 per year based on your experience. You will work Monday – Friday 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm, 100% onsite. Plus, enjoy an excellent benefits package.
As a Workers Compensation/Workers Compensation Paralegal, you will be responsible for supporting attorneys by assisting with case management. In addition, you will be responsible for:
- Scheduling trials, hearings, depositions, mediations and more
- Drafting and filing legal documents
- Coordinating document signing
- Managing attorneys’ schedules, ensuring deadlines are met
- Handling client calls
- Ensuring files are ready for every step of the pre-litigation and litigation process
- Collecting medical records, bills and subrogation liens
- Coordinating medical expert conferences and IMEs
- Conducting investigative work
- Auditing case files to ensure readiness for settlement/trial/hearing
- Tracking legal expenses and assisting with paying case-related costs
- Reviewing case data to ensure timely action on all files
- Monitoring case progression
- Assisting with case intake
- Supporting attorneys and leadership in marketing efforts
- Perform other duties as assigned
To be considered for this Personal Injury/Workers Compensation Paralegal opportunity, you must have prior legal or law firm experience. In addition, you must have:
- Experience in Personal Injury or Workers Compensation
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to navigate complex legal processes efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid work ethic
