BA - Marina Attendant - Seasonal (2654)

SUMMARY

To provide day-to-day excellent customer service to all Marina guests.  To keep the marinas, docks, shores, KwaTaqNuk patio areas clean, maintained and appealing to guests.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains guest contact, providing excellent customer service and responding in a courteous and timely manner.
• Knowledgeable with the Flathead Lake area, history, points of interests and sights.
• Promote the Shadow & KwaTaqNuk Resort specials, events, and promotions.
• Knowledgeable of The Shadow’s schedule, ticket pricing, etc.
• Clean daily all docks of spider webs and insects including slip areas and Shadow boardwalk.
• Daily cleaning of shorelines, around/under docks, boat launch areas; remove floating wood, garbage, and debris from water.
• Sweep off docks daily, including slip areas and Shadow boardwalk.
• Power washes all docks including slip area and Shadow boardwalk.
• Check all boat slips daily, ensuring boats are secured.
• Check to make sure all boats are in assigned slips.
• Daily inspection of fuel systems, fuel intake tank, pumps, and inspection under gas pumps for water and/or leaks.
• Routinely check fuel inventory.
• Turn on fuel pumps.
• Daily cleaning of gas shop/office.
• Sweep and clean cement pads.
• Know fuel prices.
• Refuel boats.
• Keep fuel docks, docks, slips and areas clean throughout shift.
• Pick up all trash and fallen branches.
• Check port-a-potties daily for trash and remove as needed.
• Empty all trash cans as needed, placing full trash bags in compacter or designated area.
• Sweep patio and cement walking areas.
• Power wash patio, cement walking areas and boat launch areas.
• Sweep and power wash all picnic tables.
• Assist with keeping patio tables, chairs, and patio area clean.
• Water all potted plants daily.
• Check RV slots daily for trash/debris; removing any trash/debris.
• Mow and weed eat marina and dock areas as needed.
• Be safety conscious always.
• Responsible for accurate register (till) transactions for cash and credit cards.
• Responsible for accurate receipts for daily shift transactions.
• May need to assist guests boarding & disembarking.
• May need to assist with emergency situations.
• Must adhere to employee appearance and dress code.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous marina experience is preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGULATIONS

• Required First Aid & CPR training within two weeks of hire.
• Required Spill Response training within two weeks of hire.
• Required to watch Customer Service video.
• Must complete POS training.
• Must complete Cash handling training.
• This individual as a condition of employment will be subject to random drug testing.
• It is always the responsibility of the employee to have all documents current and valid.

Salary : $15 - $22
