Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of deck projects
- Frame decks using dimensional measurements, and carpentry skills
- Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Handle heavy lifting and perform trim carpentry to achieve a polished final product
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications while maintaining a clean worksite
Experience
- Proven construction site experience with a focus on framing, roofing, or remodeling projects
- Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and schematics
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and dimensional measurements required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in physically demanding environments
- Basic math skills necessary for accurate measurements and material calculations
