Role Overview
The Operations Administrator plays a key role in supporting RWA by managing client account transactions, including cash and securities transfers. They also facilitate the onboarding of new client relationships through detailed reconciliation of incoming account securities. Throughout all activities, the Operations Administrator is expected to uphold industry best practices and strictly follow established compliance policies and procedures to ensure full adherence to applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000. Final base compensation will be carefully determined based on several factors including relevant knowledge, skillset, and experience. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as discretionary bonus, health, dental, and vision plans, and employer 401(k) contributions.

The Operations Administrator plays a key role in supporting RWA by managing client account transactions, including cash and securities transfers. They also facilitate the onboarding of new client relationships through detailed reconciliation of incoming account securities. Throughout all activities, the Operations Administrator is expected to uphold industry best practices and strictly follow established compliance policies and procedures to ensure full adherence to applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the custodial system to process client requests related to cash movement, including bill payments, wiring funds, and posting additions to accounts. This includes review of cash availability and compliant documentation. If the required documentation is incomplete or unclear, or if the cash action will create an overdraft, bring the issues to attention of Client Officer and/or a Manager for further action.
- Perform reconciliation in the onboarding of new relationships or the opening of subaccounts from an asset position and cost basis perspective, ensuring the accuracy of the portfolio in all respects across all technology platforms.
- Interact with receiving and delivering custodians to ensure the timely movement of assets and provide regular and detailed updates about the status of new relationships in this stage of the onboarding process, both in meetings and via case notes in Salesforce.
- Use the functionality of the core trust accounting system and its related modules in providing account related information.
- Establish and maintain electronic files of all the above-related work functions in fulfillment of RWA’s policies and procedures.
- Uphold confidentiality and consistently deliver high-quality work aligned with organizational standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief of Data Analytics, and other management team members of RWA, related to successful delivery of service to client accounts.
- Bachelors’ Degree preferred with one year of related work experience
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in PC software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with custodial systems, Salesforce and Orion is preferred, or a demonstrated ability to quickly develop expertise in such systems.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and within strict deadlines, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
