What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher - Healthcare Science Middle School position at RUTLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL?
Education, Training, and Experience:
- An associates degree or higher in a Healthcare related field;
- A current healthcare professional license, registration, or certification that relates to the healthcare field and has been issued by an appropriate governing or regulatory body;
- A minimum of two (2) years of occupational work experience in the healthcare field;
- Proficiency in and knowledge of healthcare systems;
- Knowledge of the design and implementation of lesson plans for students;
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and the Board may find appropriate.
Certificate and License Requirements
Certification in Healthcare Science preferred; however, Bibb County is a Strategic Waiver District. Alternative Certification routes are available to individuals with a degree from an accredited institution.
SALARY/TERMS/BENEFITS:
1. 190 day work year.
2. Salary based on certification and experience; placement on the Georgia Annual Salary Schedule and position supplement(s).
