EPIC has launched a new generation of programming aligned with our Portrait of a Graduate, and we invite collaborative, student-centered leaders to join our team in advancing purposeful, high-impact programming for youth alongside our schools and community partners.
We are pleased to offer the position of:
RMS EPIC Site Coordinator
8–15 hours per week (part-time)
$30–$32/hour, depending on experience
About the Role:
The RMS EPIC Site Coordinator serves as the site leader at Rutland Middle School, working in close collaboration with the EPIC Program Coordinator to design and implement engaging afterschool and summer programming that supports student growth, exploration, and skill development.
This role is ideal for a flexible, collaborative leader who is committed to:
Supporting student learning and engagement beyond the school day
Building strong connections with school-day staff and leadership
Creating opportunities for students to develop transferable life skills
Contributing to a cohesive 6–12 EPIC program experience
Key Responsibilities:
Support the daily operations of afterschool and summer programs at RMS
Design and facilitate creative, student-centered enrichment opportunities
Recruit, supervise, and support program staff as needed
Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all students
Ensure alignment with grant expectations and program goals
Collaborate with the EPIC Program Coordinator to maintain continuity across sites
Build relationships with families, school staff, and community partners
Promote programming and support student recruitment and participation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience working with youth in a school or related setting
Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger program team
Interest in developing and supporting engaging afterschool and summer programming aligned with school initiatives
Schedule:
Afterschool programming follows the school calendar (8–15 hours per week)
The six-week summer program operates approximately 40 hours per week
Additional Requirements
Must meet all CDD, VAE, and local qualifications
Must pass fingerprinting and background checks
