Job Overview

Rustic Health LLC is seeking dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide in-home personal care services to clients in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, and surrounding areas.

We are currently hiring caregivers for both weekday and weekend shifts, including Monday through Friday and Saturday and Sunday. Responsibilities

As a Caregiver with Rustic Health, your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as outlined in the client's individualized plan of care.
• Providing supervision and safety monitoring based on the client's needs.
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating or feeding when included in the client's plan of care.
• Providing light housekeeping related to the client's care, including laundry and maintaining a clean and safe home environment.
• Providing companionship and encouraging client independence and participation in daily activities.
• Respecting each client's preferences, choices, privacy, dignity, and rights.
• Following the client's individualized plan of care and completing only authorized services.
• Accurately documenting services and completing required Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for each scheduled shift.
• Promptly reporting changes in the client's condition, safety concerns, incidents, or other significant issues to the Rustic Health office.
• Maintaining client confidentiality and complying with HIPAA, Medicaid requirements, and Rustic Health policies and procedures.
• Arriving on time and completing scheduled shifts as assigned.
• Communicating promptly with the office regarding scheduling concerns, call-outs, or changes in availability.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and committed to scheduled shifts.
• Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, or a combination of both, depending on the position and client assignment.
• Previous caregiving, personal care, home care, or direct support experience is preferred but not required.
• Must have a compassionate, patient, and respectful approach when working with older adults, children, and individuals with disabilities.
• Must be able to assist clients with personal care and mobility needs as required by the individual assignment.
• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to follow written care plans and instructions.
• Must be comfortable working independently in clients' homes.
• Must successfully complete all Rustic Health hiring, background screening, orientation, and training requirements.
• CPR/First Aid requirements must be completed as required by Rustic Health.
• Must be willing and able to use EVV and follow all Medicaid and agency documentation requirements.

Scheduling

Rustic Health serves clients seven days a week, and caregiver schedules are based on each client's authorized services and individual needs.

We are currently seeking caregivers with availability for:

• Monday through Friday
• Saturday and Sunday
• Weekday and weekend combinations
• Morning, daytime, and evening shifts
• Part-time and varying weekly schedules

Availability of specific hours will depend on current client needs and openings.
