Test Lab Technical Writer

Russell Tobin is partnering with a leading materials science company to identify a Test Lab Technical Writer for an opportunity.

Pay rate range: $28-$35/hr. (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain standard work instructions, test methods, and critical safety documentation.
• Maintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
• Create, update, and maintain test report templates.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of test results.
• Organize, maintain, and control laboratory test records.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science or Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in laboratory operations, quality, or technical writing.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
