Technical Writer

Russell Tobin is partnering with a top a material science organization to identify a Technical Writer for an opportunity near Red Wing, MN.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting and leading the documentation of standard work, including test methods and life critical safety standards.
• Supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
• Creating, maintaining and updating test report templates.
• Supporting the clear, accurate and timely documentation of the test results as applicable.
• Owning the maintenance and organization of test records.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited institution
• One year of lab, quality, or technical writing experience
• Highly organized with great attention to detail
• Strong analytical capability and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership skills
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Self-motivated and results-orientated
• Self-starter who can effectively work in a fast-paced environment; and work through and manage change/ambiguity, with an appropriate sense of urgency

Additional Details:

• Location model: Red Wing, MN.
• Position Type: 12-month contract with potential to extend
• Pay range approved: $28-$35.50/hr. depending on experience
