Call Center Representative

Our client in the healthcare industry is looking to hire a Member Advocate in Lehi, UT.

Pay Rate Range: $18.00–$19.80/hour, depending on experience

Work Schedule & Training

• Working Hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; post-training hours to be determined.
• First Week: On-site Monday–Wednesday; remote Thursday–Friday.
• Remaining Training: On-site Tuesday–Thursday; remote Monday and Friday.
• Time Off: No time off permitted during training. Full availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume Tier 1 member inquiries via phone and email.
• Assist members with health benefits, account questions, and medical payment processes.
• Navigate internal software systems to resolve member inquiries efficiently.
• Provide empathetic, professional, and timely customer support.
• Collaborate with team leads and colleagues to deliver a positive member experience.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and service quality.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to learn new software, systems, and processes quickly.
• Compassionate and patient approach when handling member concerns.
• Comfortable navigating multiple technology platforms.
• At least 1 year of customer-facing or fast-paced work experience preferred.
• Prior healthcare or health insurance experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be available for the full training schedule with no planned time off.
