Tax Analyst – Contract Opportunity

📍 Location: Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

📅 Duration: Contract (potential for extension/conversion)

💲 Pay: $24 - $28

Are you looking to grow your career in tax within the financial services industry? We’re seeking a Tax Analyst to support a diverse and rapidly expanding client base including mutual funds, hedge funds, and private equity funds.

This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced tax professionals and gain exposure to complex tax strategies in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Ideal Candidate:

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

✔ CPA or CPA candidate preferred

✔ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

✔ Interest or experience in financial services, fund accounting, or tax

✔ Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare federal and state tax returns

• Coordinate distribution of tax documents and supporting schedules to investors/partners

• Calculate taxable income for funds, including book-to-tax differences and adjustments

• Prepare income and capital gain/loss estimates and dividend distributions

• Calculate and process federal and state estimated tax payments

• Prepare withholding tax filings and coordinate Form 1099-MISC preparation

• Set up new partnerships and partners within tax software systems

• Collaborate with clients and auditors to support tax reporting and compliance
