Senior Financial Reporting & Consolidation Analyst

Location: Rosemead, CA (Hybrid/Onsite as required)

Duration: 6 Months Contract (Possible Extension)

Pay Rate: $75-85/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting & Consolidation Analyst to support external financial reporting, SEC filings, and consolidated financial statement preparation within a large corporate environment. This role will focus on financial consolidations, GAAP compliance, accounting research, reporting process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial reporting, SEC compliance, consolidations, ERP systems, and technical accounting analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead consolidation of financial results across multiple business entities and prepare consolidated financial statements
• Perform intercompany eliminations, top-side adjustments, and reconciliation of consolidated balances
• Prepare and support sections of external financial reporting packages and SEC filings
• Analyze supporting financial disclosure data to ensure compliance with GAAP requirements
• Review and support XBRL tagging and related reporting activities
• Assist with preparation of internal management and board-level financial reports
• Conduct accounting research and prepare technical accounting documentation and position papers
• Evaluate impact of new accounting standards, SEC guidance, and regulatory updates on financial reporting
• Support implementation of new accounting and disclosure requirements
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, audit, and business teams to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure adherence to internal financial reporting policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or equivalent certification required
• Strong experience with GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Experience with financial consolidations and SEC reporting processes
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Workiva or similar reporting tools
• Knowledge of regulatory accounting standards and reporting frameworks
• Experience supporting public company financial reporting environments
• Background in accounting research and technical accounting documentation
• Experience with financial modeling and data analysis
