Position: Portfolio Marketing Coordinator / Marketing Operations Specialist
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid)
Duration: 7-Month Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Pay Rate: $40–$43/hour on W2
Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented marketing professional to support portfolio marketing initiatives within a fast-paced financial services environment. This role will focus on campaign execution, workflow coordination, stakeholder communication, and operational support across customer lifecycle marketing programs.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting marketing campaigns within banking, credit card, or financial services environments and be comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Marketing Execution
- Support end-to-end execution of portfolio marketing campaigns across onboarding, engagement, retention, and lifecycle initiatives
- Coordinate campaign deliverables including targeting, approvals, QA, deployment, and execution tracking
- Assist with customer communications and marketing collateral updates across multiple channels
Project & Workflow Management
- Manage intake, prioritization, and tracking of marketing requests across concurrent initiatives
- Monitor timelines, dependencies, approvals, and deliverables to ensure on-time execution
- Maintain organized workflows and support quality assurance processes
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with teams across Product, Analytics, Operations, Creative, and Marketing to support campaign execution needs
- Communicate priorities, timelines, and status updates across stakeholders
- Ensure messaging accuracy and alignment across campaigns and channels
Portfolio & Operational Support
- Support ongoing marketing programs related to customer onboarding, engagement, and reactivation efforts
- Assist with audits, reporting requests, process improvements, and operational initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, execution quality, and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, marketing operations, project coordination, or financial services environments
- Experience within banking, credit card, financial services, or other regulated industries preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance mindset
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and workflow/project tracking tools
Preferred Experience
- Marketing campaign execution or marketing operations support
- Customer lifecycle or portfolio marketing exposure
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and deliverables
- Familiarity with regulated communications or compliance-driven environments
