Title: CDO Portfolio Administrator

Location: Chicago, IL

Setting: Hybrid, 3 days onsite and 2 from home

Pay range: $19.27 - $40.21 hourly

Must have: Attention to detail; Ability to multi-task; Excel skills, Analytical.

Nice to have: Accounting background, cash account reconciliation, experience with CLO and/or CDO Suite

Education: Bachelors degree

Job Description:

CDOs are structured finance vehicles that issue both debt and equity liabilities, with the proceeds being used to buy a portfolio of collateral.

Typical types of collateral include syndicated bank loans, corporate bonds, asset-backed securities, mortgage-backed securities, and Mezzanine debt.

• Settles bank loan trades that invests excess cash as directed by the Portfolio Manager, tracks asset attributes such as accrual information, rating, industry codes, etc., provides reports to the internal clients on a daily basis, and assists other trade settlers as needed to ensure reports to the investors timely. Specific to this position, the candidate would be responsible to assist with monthly and quarterly FASB Reporting on CDO’s that have been engaged for this scope of work.
• Responsibilities would include acting as the liaison between CLO Deal Administration and Fund Services and providing resolution on any par/cash inquiries.
• Additionally, candidate would be expected to run Cash Files, load market pricing, and tie out positions with the clients.
• Scope of responsibilities would also include processing of replicate files and analyzing closing/ending balance account discrepancies month over month.
