Job Title: Logistics Specialist I

Location: Sparks, NV (100% Onsite)

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Pay Rate: $18–$19/hour on W2

Work Schedule

• 100% onsite in Sparks, NV.
• Warehouse operates 7 days a week.
• Schedules may include:
• Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday.
• 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
• Schedule may transition to four 10-hour shifts based on business needs.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist I to support warehouse and supply chain operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for inventory tracking, shipping and receiving, logistics coordination, documentation, and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working in a warehouse environment, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify inventory-related billing for accuracy and prepare documentation for processing.
• Assemble, package, label, address, and prepare materials and merchandise for shipment.
• Coordinate daily pickups and deliveries between warehouse and production locations.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and materials moving in and out of the facility.
• Monitor inventory transactions and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations to maintain efficient material flow.
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain quality standards at all times.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or cherry pickers after completing required training and certification.
• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, inventory, and production teams to ensure timely movement of materials.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping & receiving, inventory control, or supply chain operations is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to occasionally lift, move, load, and unload materials.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including occasional hot or cold conditions.
• Comfortable working around moving mechanical equipment.
