The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is hiring a Lab Technician for a world-class client in Austin, TX. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates with a Science or Engineering degree looking to gain hands-on lab experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support engineers with product testing and validation (optical and mechanical performance)
- Conduct lab experiments, prepare materials, and assist in product development
- Perform quality checks and basic data analysis
- Set up and maintain lab equipment and testing environments
- Handle physical, lab-based tasks (this is not a desk-only role)
Required Skills:
- Lab support experience or academic lab exposure
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a hands-on, equipment-heavy environment
- Basic understanding of testing, experimentation, and quality control
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Open to recent graduates
Additional Details:
- 12-month contract (possibility of extension)
- Pay: $20/hr to $22/hr
