Job Title: Investment Operations Specialist (Contract)
Location: Milwaukee, WI (100% onsite)
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
Pay Rate: $20–$22 per hour (W2)
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Investment Operations Specialist to support fund custody and loan operations within a financial services environment. This role focuses on tracking, reconciling, and reporting on institutional loan transactions while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established service standards.
The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of finance or banking operations and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and monitor pending and settled bank loan transactions to ensure accurate processing
- Perform reconciliation of account activity to maintain data integrity and accuracy
- Prepare and deliver daily, monthly, and quarterly reports for internal stakeholders
- Respond to internal inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Ensure all work meets strict service level agreements (SLAs) for accuracy and timeliness
- Support multiple client relationships by coordinating with internal teams
- Maintain organized records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 1 years of experience in banking operations, loan processing, or financial services
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with syndicated loan operations or loan administration
- Familiarity with financial systems such as Wallstreet Office, SEI, Solvas, or CDO Suite
- Basic understanding of credit agreements and loan documentation
- Experience working in a high-volume, process-driven environment
