What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Regulatory Reporting Analyst position at Russell Tobin?
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join the Finance team at the Financial Group. This role will support regulatory reporting across U.S. operations and ensure compliance with applicable financial and regulatory standards.
Location: Hybrid (2–3 days in office)
Experience: 2–5 years
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports (FR Y-9C, FFIEC, TIC, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner
• Reconcile financial data with the general ledger and perform variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements
• Monitor and implement changes in regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
• Experience in regulatory or financial reporting within banking or Big 4 environments
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI or Alteryx is an advantage
• Understanding of financial products such as loans, securities, and derivatives
• Professional certifications (CPA/CFA) are a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
