About the Role
The Associate Attorney will handle a variety of matrimonial and family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, and related issues in both Supreme Court and Family Court. The role involves managing a substantial caseload, preparing pleadings and motions, attending court appearances throughout the tri-state area, and providing high-quality client service from intake through resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, motions, depositions, and briefs.
- Represent clients in matrimonial and family law proceedings.
- Appear in court throughout the tri-state area.
- Develop and implement cost-effective litigation strategies.
- Manage a large volume of cases and track case status.
- Communicate effectively with clients, court staff, adversaries, and witnesses.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in New York.
- 7–10 years of relevant matrimonial/family law experience.
- Strong writing and advocacy skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Collaborative, self-motivated, and client-focused.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Salary : $140,000 - $200,000
