Job Description
Russell Tobin is seeking an experienced professional to join the Corporate Credit Financing Asset Management team within a leading global investment bank’s Fixed Income Division.
This team manages a diverse financing portfolio backed by private credit, broadly syndicated corporate loans, fund capital commitments, residential and commercial mortgages, consumer loans, and infrastructure assets across the U.S., Europe, and APAC. The portfolio is primarily focused on financing facilities secured by leveraged private credit and corporate loan assets.
The Asset Management team is responsible for ongoing portfolio oversight, borrowing base management, risk monitoring, reporting, covenant compliance, and stakeholder engagement. This role will play a critical part in supporting portfolio management activities and informing senior management risk decisions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and manage borrowing base models across structured lending facilities
- Review and oversee client funding requests and collateral eligibility
- Monitor covenant compliance and facility reporting requirements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reporting for senior management and internal stakeholders
- Partner with underwriting teams on amendments, waivers, and facility modifications
- Assist with data management initiatives and technology/process improvements
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Credit Risk, Legal, Operations, and senior business management
- Monitor market developments and industry trends within corporate credit and leveraged lending
Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant experience within banking, structured finance, credit risk, fixed income, asset management, or secured lending
- Experience with corporate credit, leveraged lending, structured products, or portfolio management
- Strong understanding of corporate financial statements and loan documentation
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
