Work Schedule: In office Tuesday – Thursday, work from home on Monday & Friday ~ 08:00 – 16:30
Job Description:
The main function of a business analyst is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as an analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level.
Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget.
The business operations specialist usually reports to a project manager or director.
Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization.
Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics.
Review contracts, cost proposals and contract supplements.
Set up project and work breakdown structures.
Establish and document business processes.
Track project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets.
Looking for a self-starting, solution-oriented supply chain coordinator with strong analytical skills, who can independently manage a heavy caseload of supplier/part issues, collaborate across purchasing/logistics/operations, and clearly communicate risks and resolutions to leadership while keeping customer impact front and center.
Resolve complex capacity constraints and supply disruptions to prevent customer dissatisfaction
Analyze supplier performance and sufficiency metrics to identify risk, validate recovery plans, and confirm closure.
Lead supplier and customer engagement to drive resolution of escalated supply and order fulfillment issues.
Evaluate and coordinate expedited freight or alternative logistics options to bridge short-term supply gaps when needed.
Coordinate cross-functionally to align owners, timing, and actions for aged and escalated SPAC cases and backorders.
Build, execute, and continuously improve supplier recovery plans for complex and time-sensitive escalations.
Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving to minimize impacts to dealer service and vehicle downtime.
Develop and implement creative countermeasures (process, scheduling, alternates, logistics) to close gaps and restore supply.
Prepare clear issue summaries, options, and recommendations and communicate status to leadership and stakeholders.
Support time-sensitive escalations as needed, including occasional extended or non-core hours.
Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, human resources or relevant field required.
2-4 years related experience required.
