About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AML / OFAC Compliance Leader to drive the strategic vision and execution of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) programs for the Bank. This role will play a critical part in strengthening compliance frameworks, managing risk, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and enhance BSA/AML and OFAC compliance programs across the organization
- Oversee first and second line of defense implementation
- Conduct enterprise-wide AML/OFAC risk assessments for new products and services
- Strengthen KYC, client risk rating, and transaction monitoring frameworks
- Manage third-party compliance oversight
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on AML/OFAC across key initiatives
- Provide leadership and guidance to compliance team members
- Develop and deliver AML/fraud training programs
- Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and regulatory requirements
- Escalate risks to senior leadership, including the Chief Compliance Officer and Board
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- Strong experience in AML/BSA compliance and financial crime investigations
- Knowledge of money laundering, fraud, terrorist financing, and transaction monitoring
- Proven experience in team leadership and strategic program development
- Experience working with state and federal banking regulators
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent)
- Certifications such as:
- CAMS (ACAMS)
- CFE (ACFE)
- ACFCS
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager
- Deep understanding of BSA/USA Patriot Act and OFAC regulations
*** Pay Rate- $60.00-$68.00/hour
