Assembler – Clean Room Manufacturing (Temp-to-Perm | 24 Months)
📍 Tualatin, OR (On-site)
💲 $22.00 – $25.30/hr (based on shift & interview performance)
🕒 12 Hour Shifts | Multiple Schedules Available
We are hiring Assemblers to support wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) builds in a Lean manufacturing clean-room environment. This is a 24-month contract-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay, full benefits access, and long-term growth potential.
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Install parts and hardware using hand tools, torque wrenches, fixtures, and diagnostic equipment
- Navigate computer-based work instructions and schematics
- Perform visual inspection of components prior to installation
- Verify completed work and accurately document tasks
- Support rework and pilot build projects as needed
- Maintain workflow to meet production schedules in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with audits and checklist verification
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives
🦺 Safety & Compliance
- Complete required safety training
- Follow PPE and clean-room procedures
- Adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) guidelines
- Utilize hoists, gantry cranes, and lifting tools properly
- Identify and escalate safety concerns promptly
💪 Physical Requirements
- Lift and install parts up to 35 lbs
- Kneel, crouch, squat, and reach frequently
- Climb a 10-step ladder
- Push/pull assembly dollies (~40 lbs force)
- Distinguish wire colors for identification
- Work 12 hour shifts in a time-sensitive production environment
🛠 Skills & Qualifications
- Experience using hand tools (calipers, circuit testers, torque wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.)
- Ability to navigate diagnostic software and computer-based systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and overtime
- Proactive mindset with strong teamwork and communication skills
🗓 Available Shifts (12-Hour Rotating)
- Sun–Tues every other Sat (5:00 PM – 5:30 AM)
- Sun–Tues every other Wed (5:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Wed–Fri every other Sat (5:00 PM – 5:30 AM)
- Thu–Sat every other Wed (5:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
