Position Summary:

The Chair Assembler I supports the production team by assembling components used in dental chair manufacturing. This position involves light mechanical assembly, inspecting parts, using basic hand tools, and following established work instructions while maintaining quality and productivity standards. 


Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assemble, position, and align parts and components according to established work instructions. 
  • Use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and other assembly equipment. 
  • Inspect parts and components for defects, damage, or quality concerns. 
  • Follow established production and safety procedures. 
  • Properly care for assigned tools/equipment and complete required documentation accurately. 
  • Maintain workstation materials, assist with inventory counts, and keep the work area clean and organized. 
  • Meet established production/quality expectations and perform additional assigned production duties. 


Educational and Skill Requirements: 

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. 
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently or as part of a team. 
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use small hand tools. 
  • Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience preferred but not required. 


Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (65–100% of shift). 
  • Frequent lifting of 1–5 lbs. and repetitive use of arms, wrists, and hands. 
  • Occasional walking, carrying, reaching, and pushing/pulling up to 10 lbs. 
  • Good manual dexterity, vision, and hearing for light mechanical assembly work. 


Equipment Used: 

  • Basic hand tools, scales, computers, hand presses, drill presses, and required PPE such as safety glasses. 


Work Schedule and Pay: 

  • Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM; occasional overtime may be required. Regular and reliable attendance is expected. 
  • Pay Rate: $17.50/hr 
  • Temp-to-Hire with the opportunity for permanent placement.
