Pay range: $42 - $47

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing accounts receivable activities, including reconciliations, cash application, credit memo processing, and identifying discrepancies within the receivables module. This role plays a critical part in the accounting function, supporting month-end close processes and ensuring accurate revenue recognition through proper contract setup within the ERP system. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume transactional data in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret retailer and partner contracts to ensure accurate revenue recognition, revenue share, and invoicing setup within the ERP system (e.g., Oracle EBS).
• Configure and maintain contract setups to support automated revenue recognition and expense recording.
• Partner with cross-functional teams during product launches to assess feasibility, ensure accurate data capture, and validate system readiness within AR and revenue share modules.
• Serve as a liaison between accounting, internal stakeholders, and external parties including vendors and auditors.
• Test and validate automated data feeds, including new implementations and updates to existing processes.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, investigate variances, and escalate outstanding balances as needed.
• Prepare journal entries, including month-end AR reserve analysis, and support the month-end close process.
• Perform daily cash application and upload sales data into the AR module as required.
• Investigate and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies by analyzing contracts and multiple data sources.
• Process credit memos and manual invoices as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to support audit requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the accounting team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts receivable and reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP principles.
• Experience working with high-volume transaction environments (e.g., ~100K transactions per day).
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Oracle EBS.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze large datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
