Senior Organizational Change Manager – Procurement Transformation

Location: Fully Remote – Canada
Employment Type: 6-Month W2 Contract
Extension: Possible based on performance
Pay Rate: CAD $58–$63/hour, depending on experience

About the Role

Russell Tobin is seeking a Senior Organizational Change Manager – Procurement Transformation to support a large-scale enterprise procurement modernization program for a leading global retail organization.

This role will support organizational change management delivery across a multi-release procurement transformation involving procurement intake, Supplier Information Management, and Contract Lifecycle Management platforms. The program will impact procurement, accounts payable, legal, supplier management, business partner teams, and supplier-facing stakeholders across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting procurement, supplier management, P2P, or enterprise system transformations and will be comfortable owning hands-on change deliverables, including communications, training content, stakeholder impact assessments, readiness activities, and adoption support.


Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end change communications production across multiple program releases.
  • Develop communication strategies, email campaigns, town hall materials, reinforcement messaging, and stakeholder-facing updates.
  • Create audience-specific messaging for procurement, AP, legal, supplier management, business partner, and supplier-facing teams.
  • Design and develop training curriculum and enablement materials for procurement technology implementations.
  • Build foundational learning content, user guides, quick reference guides, job aids, and training execution plans.
  • Conduct stakeholder impact assessments by comparing current-state and future-state workflows.
  • Identify change impacts across processes, tools, roles, data, and stakeholder groups.
  • Assess change magnitude and identify stakeholder groups that may require additional support.
  • Support global, multi-region deployment activities across multiple time zones.
  • Coordinate localization requirements, regional process variations, multi-language content needs, and change champion activities.
  • Drive readiness assessments and ensure change deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Ensure communications, training, and enablement materials meet publish-ready quality standards.
  • Coordinate with system integrators and vendor partners to align content, timelines, and delivery expectations.
  • Support integrated change management across supplier management, contract lifecycle management, and P2P workflows.
  • Help sequence change activities to reduce user saturation, prevent audience fatigue, and improve adoption.
  • Prepare program status updates, reporting materials, and governance meeting inputs.
  • Partner with product managers, technical program managers, business stakeholders, and change leadership.
  • Support enterprise communication platform updates and region-specific content variations for international markets.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5 years of change management experience.
  • 3 years of experience supporting procurement, supplier management, P2P, or similar business stakeholders through enterprise system implementations.
  • Experience supporting enterprise platform implementations such as Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement, or similar systems.
  • Ability to engage business users on procurement platform concepts without requiring extensive technical onboarding.
  • Experience independently creating enterprise-scale change management content, including:
    • Communication plans and messaging
    • Training curricula
    • Job aids
    • Quick reference guides
    • Stakeholder materials
    • Readiness materials
  • Proven ability to manage concurrent project workstreams with overlapping timelines and shared stakeholder audiences.
  • Strong understanding of structured change management methodologies such as ADKAR, Prosci, or equivalent frameworks.
  • Experience working with global, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
  • Ability to support content development and delivery for international audiences, including localization needs.
  • Strong executive communication skills.
  • Comfortable drafting communications on behalf of senior procurement, business, or technology leaders.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Change management certification such as Prosci ADKAR, ACMP, or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting Supplier Information Management, Contract Lifecycle Management, procurement intake, or P2P platform implementations.
  • Experience with Coupa SIM, Ironclad CLM, Zip, or comparable enterprise procurement and contract management platforms.
  • Experience supporting CLM or contract management platform migrations.
  • Experience designing user training, workflow change communications, and adoption tracking for legal or procurement users.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud or similar enterprise communication platforms.
  • Background in retail, consumer goods, multi-brand, or global procurement environments.
  • Understanding of category management, supplier diversity, global sourcing, or supplier lifecycle operations.
  • Experience coordinating OCM deliverables with system integrators or vendor-delivered content.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint as a training repository, project communications platform, or change management resource hub.


Ideal Candidate

  • Hands-on senior change management professional with enterprise transformation experience.
  • Strong background supporting procurement, supplier management, P2P, or CLM-related technology rollouts.
  • Comfortable creating polished communications and training materials independently.
  • Able to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, stakeholders, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled at translating complex process and technology changes into clear, user-friendly content.
  • Experienced working with global teams and supporting adoption across multiple business functions.


Compensation

  • CAD $58–$63/hour, depending on experience.


Contract Details

  • 6-month W2 contract.
  • Extension possible based on performance and business needs.
  • Fully remote within Canada.
