Description
Seeking highly qualified, motivated candidates for a full-time, tenure-track school social worker position. The social worker is an integral part of the school team that supports students and families, developing intervention plans to keep students attending school and on track socially and academically. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of childhood development, adolescent development, family crisis intervention, and culturally responsive practices. The successful candidate will coordinate school-based and community-based resources to support students and families to enable students to be successful in school.
LOCATION:
Vollmer Elementary School (Grades 4-6)
Sherman Elementary School (Grades 4-6)
Salary
Highly competitive based on experience and graduate credits, per Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.
Qualifications
New York State Education Department certification as a School Social Worker is required, as well as certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Work experience in childhood settings is preferred.

Attendance at New Teacher Orientation on August 25-27 is required.
