What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Technologist position at Rush Copley Medical Center?
Position Summary: The Surgical Technologist performs a variety of orthopedic/pain cases in the surgery center and will cross-train in the main hospital surgery unit, as a member of the surgical team. This role scrubs on all types of cases performed, prepares for cases by picking case supplies, set-up and maintenance of sterile field, and helps with room turnover. This role may also function as a surgeon’s second assistant. Shifts vary depending on case volume.

- Graduate of an accredited training program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR required
- Certification (CST) preferred.
- Experience as CST required
Salary : $21 - $32
