The Nursing Professional Practice team is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to join the team!
Position Summary:
The clinical nurse educator is responsible for maintaining expertise in various clinical practice settings and is able to function autonomously and in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members.
- Promotes evidenced-based practice and quality care by participating in performance improvement activities, development of nursing staff and clinical practice.
- Serves as a resource and role model and exemplifies the mission, vision and values of Rush Copley and in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Responsible for planning and implementing staff orientation, in-service education and staff development for the department.
Position Requirements:
- Must be licensed and currently registered to practice as a RN in the State of IL.
- Education: Graduate degree required (MSN).
- Certifications: American Heart Association CPR required. National certification required within 2 years of hire.
- Experience: Must have at least 2 years of RN experience and 2-3 years of perioperative experience.
