Bartender

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming
manner.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and current menu offerings.
• Make beverage recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all Virginia ABC laws and responsible alcohol
service practices.
• Accurately process orders and payments using point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of all bar areas.
• Stock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies throughout each shift.
• Prepare garnishes, syrups, mixers, and specialty beverages as required.
• Assist servers by preparing beverage tickets promptly and accurately.
• Participate in weddings, banquets, tournaments, member events, holiday celebrations, and other
special functions.

• Monitor guest consumption and professionally address situations involving intoxicated guests in
accordance with company policy.
• Complete opening, closing, inventory, cash handling, and side work responsibilities.
• Support beverage

• Evening, weekend, holiday, and special event availability is preferred.
• Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required for candidates willing to learn.
• Virginia ABC certification or the ability to obtain certification as required.
