PM Mechanic (Preventive Maintenance Mechanic)

Location: Oak Park, MI

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $25–$27/hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced PM Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on company equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM services)
• Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues
• Complete oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and tune-ups
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Keep work area clean and organized
  
  

Qualifications

• 2 years of mechanic or maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of diesel, heavy equipment, or industrial systems preferred
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in shop/outdoor environments
