Role Description The Sales Coordinator / Front Desk role is a full-time, on-site position based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. In this role, the team member greets and checks in guests, manages class bookings, answers inquiries in person, by phone, and digitally, and provides an efficient and welcoming front desk experience. Daily responsibilities include supporting membership sales, following up with leads, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records of member information and attendance. The role also involves coordinating sales operations, assisting with studio events and promotions, keeping the front-of-house tidy and organized, and collaborating closely with the coaching and management team to support member retention and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in Sales Coordination and Sales Operations to support membership growth and studio revenue.
- Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on creating a friendly, professional, and inclusive front desk experience.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with members, guests, and team members.
- Experience in Sales, preferably in fitness, hospitality, or retail environments, with comfort in discussing memberships and promotions.
- Ability to work on-site in the New York City Metropolitan Area, including evenings, weekends, and peak class times as needed.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, scheduling software, and basic computer applications.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in handling payments and member records.
- Interest in fitness and wellness; prior studio or gym experience is beneficial but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in business, communications, or related fields is a plus.
