About Us
Rumble Boxing is a high-energy boutique fitness concept that combines boxing-inspired training with strength training in a 45-minute HIIT workout. Our classes are designed to challenge members of all fitness levels while creating an unforgettable experience through coaching, music, and motivation.
We're looking for energetic coaches who love fitness, enjoy performing in front of a room, and know how to create an atmosphere that keeps members coming back.
Responsibilities
- Lead fun, high-energy group fitness classes
- Coach boxing technique and strength movements safely
- Motivate members of all fitness levels
- Deliver an exceptional member experience every class
- Arrive prepared with energy, professionalism, and enthusiasm
- Be available to coach classes at both our Watertown and Somerville studios when needed
Qualifications
- Current Personal Trainer certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, etc.) OR Group Fitness certification (AFAA, ACE Group Fitness, etc.) is required
- CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain before starting)
- Group fitness, boxing, or coaching experience preferred
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and reliability
- Comfortable coaching with a microphone in front of groups
- Evening and weekend availability is a plus
Compensation
- Starting at $45 per class
- $1 per member once class utilization exceeds 50%
- Additional classes available as the studios continue to grow
Schedule
Part-time
Expected hours: 4–15 hours per week
Audition Process
To be considered, please submit a short video (1–3 minutes) demonstrating how you would coach one round of a Rumble Boxing class.
The video does not need to be professionally produced. We're looking for your coaching ability, cueing, energy, confidence, and personality.
Qualified applicants will be invited to audition in person at one of our Greater Boston studios.
Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
