Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our food service establishment, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients.
- Dispose of waste and maintain proper sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Support kitchen staff by bussing tables and assisting with other cleaning duties as required.
- Ensure that all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
Skills
- Experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
