You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly atmosphere.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
- Provide recommendations on menu items to enhance guests experience.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns or requests promptly.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables before and after service, maintaining an organized work environment. We do not have bussers.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or guest services is preferred.
- Familiarity with Toast POS systems is advantageous for efficient order processing.
- Basic math skills are essential for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is required to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Previous experience in sales in preferred but not required.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
