Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and design. As a Landscape Technician, you will play a vital role in enhancing the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces while ensuring the health of plants and landscapes.
Duties
- Need to be punctual as day will start between 8:30/9 AM.
- Perform landscape installation tasks, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Irrigate areas as needed to maintain optimal plant health.
- Dig and prepare soil for planting and other landscape projects.
- Construct hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Operate hand tools and machinery for mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Conduct regular groundskeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and aesthetics of properties.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and basic mechanical repairs.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and techniques is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
