1st Impressions Landscape and Garden Center was created in 1998 and provides Landscape Design and Installation, Estate Management, Snow Removal and a Retail Garden Center. We work with both residential and commercial customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform detailed plant bed maintenance, including mulching, edging, pruning, weeding, mowing and trimming, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain plant health, appearance, and contract compliance.
• Identify plant, turf, irrigation, lighting, and drainage issues and provide recommendations for corrective action and enhancements.
• Complete work orders, service documentation, and inspection reports accurately and on time.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and tools, ensuring safe operation and proper service logging.
• Support client communication, enhancement sales opportunities, and seasonal services including snow and ice management.
• Provide snow and ice removal services on a 24/7 on-call basis during winter weather events.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum three (1) year of relevant field experience.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to pass insurance eligibility background check
• Ability to operate a truck and trailer combination

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of plant identification, pruning standards, soil health, and turf care.
• Ability to diagnose pest and disease issues and recommend treatment plans.
• Working knowledge of irrigation systems and basic troubleshooting.
• Possession of Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) Commercial applicator’s License categories 3A, 6A, 6C and 8. If you don’t have it, we will help you obtain it within 90 days.
• Snow Removal Experience (Truck w/ Plow, Skid steer or Sidewalk Crew)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds frequently and heavier items occasionally
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting and reaching throughout the workday
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs and navigate uneven or sloped terrain safely
• Auditory ability to hear instructions, warnings and equipment alarms
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold and precipitation

Work Environment

• Primary worksites are located outside and subject to exposure to the weather elements.
• Occasional warehouse work related to tools and equipment storage and upkeep

Pay: $19.25 - $21.25 per hour
