Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Hudson, FL
Schedule: Full-Time, Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records, including test results and clinical documentation.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license, or valid compact license with Florida RN licensure obtained within 60 days of hire.
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU experience required.
- Previous acute care hospital experience strongly required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer applications.

- Candidates with experience in Medical ICU (MICU), Surgical ICU (SICU), or Cardiovascular/Coronary Specialty Units (CSU) will be considered.
