Responsibilities
- Prepare and load vehicles with necessary watering materials and tools for daily assignments.
- Operate equipment such as water tanks and hoses to ensure proper hydration of trees, flower beds, and plant containers.
- Maintain the cleanliness of flowerbeds and surrounding areas by removing debris, weeds, and litter.
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides to plant areas as needed to support plant health.
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks to ensure equipment is ready for use.
- Document observations on plant health, including identifying dead plants, weeds, and pests.
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned to support the landscaping team.
Qualifications
- On-the-job training provided; no prior experience required.
- Interest in plants, gardening, or landscaping.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of plant care and ability to operate landscaping equipment.
- Valid drivers license required.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
