Duties
- Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and tree care activities to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications
- Lead landscaping construction projects from planning through execution, including site preparation, planting, irrigation installation, and hardscape work
- Oversee irrigation system setup, repairs, and maintenance to ensure efficient water use across all landscapes
- Manage team schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines and client expectations
- Conduct safety inspections and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment for all crew members
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members on horticulture techniques, equipment operation, and best practices in landscape maintenance
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to coordinate project activities and resolve issues promptly
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in landscaping or related outdoor maintenance fields
- Strong background in landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, horticulture, and tree care
- Hands-on experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of construction processes related to outdoor projects such as patios, walkways, or retaining walls
- Familiarity with landscaping tools, equipment operation, and safety procedures
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
