Position Summary:
The Field Manager is responsible for directly supervising a crew while on the job site, ensuring team members work safely and efficiently in delivering quality jobs on time. Coordinates the planning, assignment and directing of work through labor, material, and equipment management, ensuring the successful completion of assigned contract maintenance and snow removal projects. Assists in the development, training, and performance management of crew members, and addresses and resolves immediate customer issues faced in the field. Reports directly to the Production Manager.
$2,000 Signing Bonus after 180 days of satisfactory performance and attendance
Principal Responsibilities:
- Work with management to create schedules and follow job specifications, including materials and timelines.
- Organize, supervise, and train employees to complete projects within established quality guidelines and job timeframe.
- Monitor the quality of work daily to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled in a manner that is in line with proper horticultural practices.
- Develop a clear understanding of the hourly and cost budgets for each job.
- Maintain safe working conditions on job site at all times; follow and implement all company safety guidelines and ensure crew members are doing the same.
- Identify ways to improve work processes, efficiency, and quality.
- Maintain a positive relationship with Clients.
- Maintain a clear understanding of the philosophies by which the company operates.
- Daily responsibilities include, monitoring AM and PM procedures for crew members, and completing all daily paperwork, including timesheets.
Education & Experience Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of professional landscape maintenance experience preferred.
- At least three years of experience doing contract maintenance work in a commercial setting.
Skills & Abilities Qualifications:
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English; bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
- Ability to train others and exercise leadership skills.
- Demonstrates dependability; consistently at work and on time, responds to management direction and commits to the required hours for job completion that will vary based on weather/season.
- Working knowledge of vehicles and equipment used in contract maintenance and snow removal.
- Valid State Driver’s License with clean driving record over the last three years.
Salary : $23 - $30
