Pay Rate: Up to $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Sunday–Friday, 5 days per week

Shift: 5:30 PM–2:00 AM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Extended Hours: End time may be as late as 5:00 AM depending on workload Overtime:

Friday may be scheduled as overtime when requested

Job Summary

Join our warehouse team and play an important role in keeping the foodservice supply chain moving. As a Warehouse Selector, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, organizing, palletizing, and preparing products for customer orders.

This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position that requires operating a ride-on electric pallet jack (EPJ), using an RF handheld scanner, and working in refrigerated and frozen environments. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable, and experienced in warehouse order selection and packing.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and pick products accurately according to customer orders.
• Operate a ride-on electric pallet jack (EPJ) safely and efficiently.
• Use a handheld RF scanner to scan and verify products and orders.
• Build, organize, and palletize customer orders for shipment.
• Pack and prepare products for delivery.
• Move and stage products throughout the warehouse.
• Verify product quantities, item numbers, and order accuracy.
• Follow proper safety procedures when operating equipment and handling products.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This is an active warehouse position requiring employees to work in areas with varying temperatures and humidity, including:

• Non-refrigerated areas
• Refrigerated/cooler areas
• Frozen/freezer areas

Employees must be comfortable working in extreme temperatures and remaining on their feet for extended periods.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent physical activity throughout the workday. Candidates must be able to:

• Frequently lift 10–75 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Repeatedly bend, twist, squat, reach, and retrieve products from lower shelves.
• Stand and work on their feet for 10–12 hours per day.
• Safely operate a ride-on electric pallet jack and/or forklift.
• Repeatedly handle, move, stack, and palletize products.
• Work safely and efficiently in refrigerated and frozen environments.

Required Experience & Skills

• Ride-on electric pallet jack (EPJ) experience required.
• RF handheld scanner experience required — handheld arm scanner experience; headset-only experience does not meet this requirement.
• Previous order picking and packing experience required.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience preferred/required based on assignment.
• Ability to accurately select products and build customer orders.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Ability to work in cooler and freezer environments.
• Ability to work extended shifts as required by workload.
• Reliable attendance and consistent work performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of ride-on electric pallet jack or forklift experience.
• At least 1 year of warehouse, military, or other physically active work experience.
• At least 1 year of order selection experience.
• 2 years of consistent work history preferred.

Salary : $20
