Warehouse Worker – Electric Pallet Jack & Forklift Experience Required
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–8:00 AM start time
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary
Overtime: Potential Sunday overtime, with employee and manager approval
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Worker to join a fast-paced distribution and warehouse operation. This position involves palletizing, labeling, loading and unloading trucks, reboxing products, and safely moving materials throughout the facility.
Candidates must have hands-on experience operating both an electric pallet jack and a forklift.
This position may require working in refrigerated and freezer areas. Appropriate cold-weather protective equipment will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to move products and pallets safely
- Load and unload trailers
- Sort, pack, and palletize products
- Relabel cases and pallets as needed
- Restack cases and pallets while maintaining product integrity
- Move and organize pallets throughout the warehouse
- Rebox and prepare products for shipment
- Dispose of pallets and other materials as needed
- Perform general warehouse and material-handling duties
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous forklift operating experience required
- Previous electric pallet jack experience required
- 0–3 years of warehouse, distribution, or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Strong attention to safety and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs. regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a refrigerated/cold environment around 35°F
- Steel-toe shoes or boots required on Day 1
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Start time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM
- Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
- Potential Sunday overtime may be available with approval.
Work Environment
This is a physically active warehouse position. Employees may work in refrigerated and freezer areas and should be comfortable working in cold temperatures. Protective freezer suits and gloves are provided when required.
