About the Role
As our Business Development Associate, you will own the front end of our B2B sales development engine. Your mission: identify, target, and engage the decision makers who matter most, think CFOs, VPs of Finance, CIOs, Directors of IT, and HR Leaders, who need specialized talent solutions right now. You'll navigate corporate hierarchies, uncover real workforce pain points, and secure discovery meetings for our senior sales leadership. This is a launchpad role for someone hungry to build a career in staffing and recruiting sales.
Work Model
This role runs on a hybrid schedule: collaborative, energizing team days at our Miami, FL office paired with the flexibility of remote work days.
Responsibilities
- Prospect like a pro. Use premium sales tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and specialized industry networks to build targeted lists of South Florida businesses actively hiring for accounting, finance, or IT talent.
- Bring relentless energy. Run persistent, high volume, multi touch outbound campaigns, think 60 to 80 cold calls plus highly personalized, industry specific emails every day.
- Qualify with purpose. Lead consultative discovery conversations with hiring authorities to uncover their immediate or upcoming contract, contract to hire, and direct hire staffing needs.
- Set the stage for wins. Secure and schedule qualified discovery meetings and presentation opportunities for senior sales team members.
- Keep it sharp. Track and manage all outreach data, client communication history, and touchpoints cleanly within our CRM.
Qualifications
- You bring 1-3 years of experience in outbound sales, professional recruitment, B2B lead generation, or high-volume client outreach.
- A working knowledge of professional business environments, corporate structures, and accounting, finance, or IT terminology is a strong plus.
- You're a persuasive, confident communicator with real phone presence and the ability to build fast rapport with executive-level buyers.
- You're resilient by nature, a disciplined, metrics-driven closer with the grit to handle rejection and consistently beat monthly quotas.
- Bonus points if you know the South Florida business ecosystem inside and out.
