Retail Pharmacist (Part-Time, Day Shift) – Rathdrum, ID
Assignment Type: 13-Week Contract with Potential for Permanent Placement
Overview:
A busy retail pharmacy in Rathdrum is seeking a dependable Staff Pharmacist to join their team on a part-time basis. This role is a great fit for someone who values patient interaction, teamwork, and a steady workflow in a community-focused setting.
Schedule Details:
• 24–32 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Rotating Saturday shift from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Weekday off (Thursday or Friday) provided when scheduled for Saturday
Pharmacy Setting:
• Prescription volume ranges from 300 to 400 per day
• Utilizes Pioneer pharmacy management system
• Support staff includes 3 technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier
Core Responsibilities:
• Perform prescription verification with accuracy and efficiency
• Provide patient counseling and ensure high-quality care
• Oversee and support technician workflow
• Deliver excellent customer service and contribute to a positive team environment
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Idaho Pharmacist license
• Prior retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient care
• Must have an updated resume, completed skills checklist, and professional references available
