Retail Pharmacist in Athol, ID

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1 years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacist opportunity is available for a dedicated professional seeking a part-time position on the day shift in Rathdrum, ID. This role offers an initial 13-week contract with the potential to transition to a permanent full-time position.

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (with a corresponding day off on either Thursday or Friday when working Saturday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify prescriptions and ensure patient safety.
• Provide patient counseling focused on medication use and health improvements.
• Supervise and collaborate with a team including 3 technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier.
• Maintain a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service and teamwork within a fast-paced retail environment.
• Utilize the Pioneer pharmacy system to manage an average prescription volume of 300 to 400 per day.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in Idaho.
• Experience working in retail pharmacy settings.
• Ability to work effectively within a team setting and demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Up-to-date resume, skills checklist, and references ready for review.
